Zenmuse X7 - A new Revolution in Drone Business
On October 11, 2017, DJI released the new Zenmuse X7 - definitely a new revolution in Drone Business specialized for professional aerial cinema. At the top of game, the X7 features features a number of advancements to make it perfect match for cinema-quality aerial video capture, designed to work seamlessly with Inspire 2.

DJI Zenmuse X7
The X7 has a large 23.5 x 12.5mm Super 35mm sensor, that features 14 stops dynamic range for more detail in low and light conditions - much wider than the 12.8 stops featured on the Zenmuse X5S. Furthermore, the camera is capable of recording 6K CinemaDNG RAW or 5.2 Apple ProRes up to 30fps and 3.9K CinemaDNG RAW or 2.7K ProRes up to 59.94 FPS to integrate seamlessly into industry-standard post-production workflows.
In addition to the X7, this camera features the game-changer DJI Cinema Color System (DCCS) developed with Technocolors’s instruction. DCCS has a new D-Log Curve and D-Gamut RGB color space to give more flexibility and color options during the post-production process.
Flexible shooting with Zenmuse X7
DJI offered the new DJI DL-Mount system with the flange focal distance less than 17mm (roughly ⅓ of size of a PL Mount) and 4 primes lenses in 16mm, 24mm, 35mm and 50mm focal lengths, each with f/2.8 maximum apertures. Each of these lenses also has a built-in ND Filter while the remaining lenses feature mechanical shutters.
